so far saturday

the puppies had their 6-month checkup. they’re about 8-9 pounds now. and penny peed on my arm because she was upset about being at the vet, and peed in the carrier and peed on my sister on the drive home. weezie only peed on the scale. sigh.

they go back in june to get spayed.

got home and scrambled to write my two journal entries and comment on other people’s posts after i took a shower because… i don’t know, the idea of trying to write academically while covered in puppy pee wasn’t appealing at all. i already dislike communicating when it’s not at my free will. 

now i need lunch. bagel with avocado and brie sounds good…

since i’ll be using my ipad to take notes in class, i’ve been looking for a keyboard+case/folio for my ipad so i don’t have to struggle with the touchscreen keyboard. so far the only one i’ve seen that fits my function+fashion criteria is the zaggfolio. specifically, because it doesn’t have the extra bulk i’ve seen in other keyboard cases. it also looks sturdy.

i just feel weird since it’s $100…

Must call Mood Fabrics to see shipping rates of swatches to hawaii. Yes, I am thinking about paying a dollar per swatch and five (possibly more) for shipping…
I have roughly ten sketches for spring. Three “complete looks” but I want to have ten, in case he doesn’t like some. I dislike designing for spring/summer. Not my strong point. At all.
After this, I am going to flesh out my resort trend/theme and start sketching for fall/winter.

Oh and researching the gibson girl look more, or the events that led up to it…
